SOUTH
MANCHESTER
CREDIT
UNION
What is a Credit Union?

A Credit Union is a co-operative where
people can save, and from which people can
withdraw low cost loans.

It's aims:
1) To help people to save.
2) To allow people to overcome immediate
crises by giving low cost loans.
3) To try to keep people out of debt which
they cannot repay.
4) To provide a service for people for whom
the banks do not cope.
South Manchester Credit
Union covers the whole of
south Manchester, with
paying in points at the Barlow
Moor Community Centre, St.
Bernard's Church, Burnage
and Christ Church United
Reformed Church, on Fog
lane in Burnage.

The South Manchester Credit
Union always welcomes new
members, and has recently
launched a junior members
scheme.
